This has to be one of the coolest things I have every been a part of. Marty, the guy who got us into the Regatta, wanted to put something on the water that normally isn't water, or boat, related. So we came up with, what else, but a fire truck. Oh man was thing fun to build. Everything structural was cardboard and no...we did not sink. We had pop out windows, benches for us to sit on, a seat and console inside the cab and some additional bells and whistles on the outside. We had the most spectacular looking boat that year. So the "Vogue Award" was presented to us.
