I earned my B.A. in Graphic Design, along with minors in Art History and Philosophy, from SAU, St. Ambrose University, in 2004. Since graduating, I've worked for a local sign shop as a graphic designer and as an Assistant Store Manager for Kmart in Springfield, IL and in Davenport, IA. I finally got into my area of expertise with a local Point-Of-Purchase, P-O-P, company that has a branch in Rock Island, IL.
The Strive Group hired me as a graphic designer over 5 years ago and since then I have worked my way up to be in charge of the entire graphics department in my division. As the lead graphic designer, I create and pre-flight art for corrugate displays for companies that include Procter and Gamble, 3M, Frito Lay, and Hallmark. I also work closely with various printers, marketers, and sales departments to ensure that the quality and streamlining of the art is completed in a smooth and timely manner to provide a superior product for our clients and their customers.

TWISTERZ PRO SHOP : I reconstructed the current logo for Twisterz Pro Shop to make more readable when scaled to larger sizes. I also designed store signage, business materials, and gift certificates.
JASON ADAMS, GERORGIA HOUSE DISTRICT 35 : I designed political and business materials for Jason Adams’ 2008 campaign. Political materials included; political signage, door hangers, web banners, and handouts. I also designed his business cards and personal stationary.

THE STRIVE GROUP: Worked as lead graphic designer in charge of pre-flighting and creating production art for corrugated displays. Also work closly with printers to assure a quality product for our clients.
VICTORYSTORE.COM: Worked as graphic design and sign builder. Main tasks included: laying out sign design with Adobe Illustrator on FlexiSign Pro, creating various yard signs for people all over the country that were running for office using vinyl, used a vinyl plotter to create car magnets and short run signs, created film negatives for large quantity production sign runs.
INTERNSHIP AT ADMOSPHERES: Designed ads for the River Cities' Reader and clients that are affiliated with the River Cities' Reader. Other duties included laying out various news stores, updating exisitng copy, and creating the front cover.
KMART: Designed in-store promotional materials such as flyers, posters and special offer cards while working there as an hourly employee and Assistant Store Manager. Also designed full page ads and inserts to be featured in local newspapers.
